About Sam

Sam De Creus

I'm Sam De Creus, a software engineer in Ghent and the founder of Vibes. I help make sense of complex systems: understanding how they work, finding the causes of persistent problems and turning unclear requirements into workable software.

How I work

I work best when there is ambiguity to clarify, particularly at the start of a project or during a transition. My work spans analysis, implementation and system improvement, with a focus on reliable integrations, thoughtful design and long-term maintainability.

Software and people

Through Vibes, I also explore how people use and experience AI at work. I bring the same curiosity to those conversations: listening closely, asking questions and understanding the situation before proposing a solution.

Working together

I take on software projects and technical assignments. I can help investigate an integration problem, clarify a system's architecture, improve test automation or build backend functionality. We agree on the scope, responsibilities and intended outcome before starting.
